Our Story

 Ian Spear, who has a passion for cooking and creating delicious food, and Jennifer Spear, his wife, both worked most of their life in the hospitality industry, when they both decided that instead of doing it for someone else, that they would build their own life-long dream and own a restaurant of their own.

In 2005, the Spear Family bought out Nicola’s Ristorante. Nicola’s is the only Italian Restaurant in Bunbury. They’ve grown from 7 staff to now employing over 17! 

Nicola’s always has a dining room buzz with cool cafe music, romantic ambiance, consistent and fulfilling food, and amazing service. They bend over backwards with bill splitting and dietary requirement satisfaction.

Nicola’s represent Italy well by creating a family environment for their guests and staff, also employing their son Matt and their daughter-in-law Jenny.
